Trusts
Trusts
Trusts can be a very powerful tool for financial planning and estate planning.
The Who, What, When, Where and Why - and How you and your beneficiaries will benefit from your estate assets, both while you are alive, and after you have passed.
Trusts identify who will benefit from each trust (beneficiaries), what (what assets are in each trust), when (now or in the future), where (where the assets are to go, including the type of trust to be used), the why (intended use) and how (how much is distributed to the beneficiaries over time)
If your family has a member that requires "Special Needs", there is even a trust set up of Special Needs so that your dependent will not lose any support programs, and still have access to the Special Needs Trust.
Most estate plans have more than one trust. Some types of trusts can be established or created while you are alive, and other types are created upon your passing. Please make sure that you make the time to establish or update your plan as soon as possible. We can help.
